Rancho Santa Fe: Private and Luxurious Lifestyle
Trying to see homes in Rancho Santa Fe can be a real challenge. Most of these lovely estates sit far back from the winding roads, and are shielded by native and tropical landscaping. If the property is located in the Rancho Santa Fe Covenant, real estate signs are not allowed. Nor are street lights, open house signs, or mailboxes. If a Realtor holds an open house, the only outward sign of any real estate activity might be a single balloon floating near the driveway.
The retrieval of mail is done at the Rancho Santa Fe Village Post Office, which sometimes becomes a casual social event where neighbors and friends meet and catch up with life events. A morning stroll from the Post Office might take one to the nearby Rancho Santa Fe Library, or the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, or perhaps the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe for a cup of coffee or glass of lemonade. Heading back home, one might pass friends on horseback, riding past the historic Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club.
